As part of the training programme, Professor Adil BAMI, the manager of the programme MACI and Professor Brahim KERZAZI, Speaker, and the participants of the Specialized Master in International Trade (MACI) had organized a study tour in partnership with the University of Lille, from June 17th to 19th, 2019.
The study tour provides participants with an immersive and international experience. It’s an opportunity for understanding of the factors of the macro environment interacting with various stakeholders (Companies, territories, universities, Infrastructures, Institutions, etc.)
This visit was inaugurated on Monday, June 17, 2019, with a presentation by a representative of Competitiveness Centre, addressing the challenges of competition and competitiveness in a changing world.
On June 18th, 2019, the visit to the Port of Rotterdam revolves around the theme “Port logistics at the heart of international trade”. The port of Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe. It is the main maritime gateway for goods flows (Import & Export).
The programme of this study tour also includes institutional visits, notably to the European Parliament. At this event, the participants attended the work of a commission on Energy and Climate.
The participants were also received by three officials at the European Commission who are working on Moroccan current issues (fisheries agreement, agriculture, services, etc.).
Another institutional visit was dedicated to the Moroccan Embassy to the European Union and NATO. It was an opportunity to learn more about the mission of our diplomatic representatives in protecting and defending the Kingdom’s economic interests, namely the access to the European market.
