The CGEM* held its 2nd Summer University on September 13th and 14th, at ISCAE Casablanca. During two days of intense debates, nearly 100 speakers expressed their different insights regarding the role of entrepreneurship in Morocco’s development model.
The Summer University thus constitutes an extraordinary platform for discussions and practical proposals for the future, particularly in the context of the ongoing dynamic for a new model of economic and social development combining a strong, productivity-oriented growth, with a palpable improvement of the living standards of the populations.
The Summer University was also an opportunity to highlight one of the pillars of the model supported by the CGEM, namely the crucial role of entrepreneurship, in all its forms and dimensions, for economic and social development of Morocco.
The Guest of Honor of this edition inaugural ceremony is Nicolas Sarkozy, former French President. Mr. Sarkozy has exchanged with the entrepreneurs of the CGEM in a plenary session entitled “The world is changing so fast! What about tomorrow’s economy? ”
The CGEM Summer School was marked by a strong institutional presence: Mr. Saad Dine El Otmani, Head of Government, Mr. Mohammed Benchâaboun, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and the Digital Economy, Mr. Said Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Ahmed Reda Chami, President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), Driss Guerraoui, President of the Competition Council, and Dounia Taarji, President of the Management Board of the Hassan II Fund for Economic and Social Development.
